One Year!

December 10, 2013
I can't believe this is the one year anniversary of A Food Affair. I look back and I don't even really know why I started it... or what to expect. I just thought, hey, why not? And now, this blog has opened doors for me that I never knew existed. I love what I do. I love to cook and style and create recipes that add a little excitement to your dinner table. I love how a simple cookie cup recipe became a party favorite for so many friends or how an easy chicken lettuce wrap recipe has been repinned over 300 times. I learnt I have a passion for food styling and have met so many fabulous bloggers, chefs, photographers and food writers. And to celebrate, I gave a Food Affair a makeover. A little nip, a little tuck and a whole new fresh look! It has been hard. And fun. And very challenging at times. But I've never been happier. So thank you for making A Food Affair a part of your lives sometimes. I'll be posting a lot of great recipes for the holidays but in the meantime, I wanted to share a great project I worked on with Lurpak team for their Baking Studio event taking place next month. I created 10 short vidoes with simple baking tips. If you're interested in attending, you can sign up here to participate. администрирование сайта цена

Congratulations! The first blog anniversary is always so momentous and memorable. And the journey is probably the toughest too, with a bit of confusion, self-questioning and unreasonable dreams and aspirations. You have a very beautiful space. So here’s to many more years of blogging:)
